I am committed to creating an individualistic counseling experience. I recognize and appreciate the unique experiences of individuals and couples. My words are put to action through an integrative style therapy that acknowledges counseling is not a one-size-fits-all. Our counseling sessions are tailored to your unique needs and incorporate evidence-based practices.
My passion for counseling was sparked by many conversations with the softball players I coach during my free time. Their confidence and optimism inspired me to apply for the counseling program at Northwestern University. These young athletes exhibited the power of optimism and narrative. When I saw a new, intimidating change in my life, they found excitement in the unknown. As a clinical intern currently pursuing my master's in counseling, I ask myself, ‘How can I do for others what these young athletes unknowingly did for me?’ I want to help others navigate life transitions and challenges. I accomplish this through a welcoming, adaptable, and direct therapy. I create a trusting environment, promoting conversations that uncover mental barriers and acknowledge an individual's unique worldview. Importantly, I recognize that these young athletes sparked what was already within me. Similarly, I am a guide in uncovering your hidden strengths.
I specialize in adults (18+) and couples experiencing anxiety, burnout, life transitions, identity challenges, and stress. The counseling sessions are guided by evidence-based interventions such as CBT, ACT, and Psychodynamic therapy. I look forward to collaborating and creating what's best for you!
