Ryan Iannone

My name is Ryan, and I’m currently in my second year of the Counseling Psychology master’s program at The Chicago School, with a concentration in Addiction Studies. Outside of counseling, I’ve always enjoyed the creative side of marketing and its ability to connect people in today’s world. Before school, I worked in marketing for both a veterinary hospital and a private therapy practice in Wisconsin. My interest in marketing really began with my love of film and the way a great story can resonate deeply with someone and stay with them. That said, my favorite movie of all time is The Jungle Book. It brings together so many things I love: nature, animals, and jazz music. It also reflects the experience of living between two worlds, which may have been my first introduction to dialectics (something the DBT crowd will probably appreciate.)

 

Outside of work and school, I’m a big food and coffee enthusiast. I love cooking and exploring the incredible restaurants that make up Chicago. I’m so excited to help this practice grow and build in the community.
