Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and uncertain. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. I take a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, recognizing that many of the struggles people face today are connected to past experiences, negative self-beliefs, or patterns that once helped them cope but now keep them stuck. Together, we work to process and shift these patterns so they no longer carry the same emotional weight in your life.
My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained in EMDR, which is recognized as a first-line treatment for trauma and PTSD and is increasingly used to support people experiencing anxiety, depression, and other stress-related concerns. These approaches help clients process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop a stronger sense of self.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Even when life looks “fine” on the outside, something internally may still feel unresolved. My experience includes working with adults ages 18+ in higher levels of care for eating disorder treatment and supporting individuals navigating sobriety, trauma, and major life transitions. When I’m not in the therapy room, you can often find me at a coffee shop with friends, having a picnic by the lake, or watching shows like Shrinking or Bridgerton. If you're ready to begin working through what’s been weighing on you, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
