THERAPIST

I believe that the relationship between therapist and client can be compared to something sacred, and I treat our time together as a space of work and healing. Entering into therapy can be vulnerable because bringing one’s struggles, hopes, fears, and experiences into a dedicated space is not a small or easy task. This process can be a pivotal point for many individuals. It allows us to truly sit with the experience of being human and use that experience as an opportunity for growth.
First and foremost, I prioritize developing strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. I understand how difficult it can be to bring oneself into therapy, and that trust is necessary in order to feel comfortable beginning this personal journey. As a therapist, I approach my work with curiosity, warmth, and non-judgment. We all have our own unique stories in life, and I see it as a privilege when those stories are shared with me. I am a strong believer in people’s ability to learn more about themselves and evolve. That is why I am here to help create a therapeutic space and embark with you on your process of healing and growth.
As a therapist, I primarily operate from a trauma-informed, humanistic-relational lens while also incorporating existential, psychodynamic, and somatic approaches. I believe that by addressing the connection between mind and body, we can often reach places of healing that previously felt stuck. While working with me, you may also find that I incorporate behavioral interventions from time to time, as needed.
I work with a variety of concerns, including mood disorders, various forms of trauma, shame work, postpartum experiences and parenthood, chronic illness, self-esteem issues, life transitions, neurodiversity-affirming support, relationship concerns, men’s issues, and more. All are welcome
here!
