Expanding Access to Care
How Reduced-Fee Works

Seeking therapy is a significant decision, and selecting the right clinician requires confidence in both their training and the quality of care you will receive. Our reduced-fee therapy options make evidence-based mental health care more accessible while connecting you with emerging clinicians who are completing the supervised clinical experience required on their path toward licensure. When you work with one of our clinical interns, you receive individualized care from a clinician who is committed to your well-being, with the experience and ongoing supervision of our licensed clinical team behind them. We value transparency as a foundation of thoughtful care. The Professional Qualifications of Clinical Interns

Our emerging clinicians are advanced Master’s-level candidates completing the final, intensive clinical requirements of accredited graduate programs in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. Prior to entering client care at our practice, interns have completed extensive academic coursework, clinical ethics training, and rigorous foundational preparation. They bring up-to-date research and contemporary therapeutic methodologies to their practice.

Dual-Layer Clinical Oversight
Clients receiving care through our emerging clinicians receive benefit from a collaborative care structure. Each intern works under the direct, formal supervision of a fully licensed senior therapist within our practice. Through weekly clinical consultations, treatment plans are continually evaluated and refined alongside experienced clinicians. This dual-layer approach ensures that your treatment is guided by both dedicated individual attention and senior clinical expertise.

The Advantage of Intern-Led Care

In addition to affordability, working with a clinical intern offers several distinct advantages:
-
Focused Clinical Attention: Interns maintain smaller client caseloads, allowing them to dedicate exceptional time, preparation, and focus to each individual session.
-
Current Evidence-Based Approaches: As active graduate scholars, interns integrate the latest research and contemporary therapeutic modalities into their treatment.
-
Expanded Availability: Interns often offer greater scheduling flexibility, accommodating client needs with greater ease.
